A través de un streaming, la gala de premios The Game Awards reveló hoy lunes a los nominados para su versión 2022. El evento que premia a lo mejor de los videojuegos se realizará el próximo 8 de diciembre en el Teatro Microsoft de Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos.
La versión de este año contará con 31 categorías, las cuales fueron presentadas por Geoff Keighley a través del directo. Este año se agrega una nueva categoría llamada «Mejor Adaptación» (Best Adaptation), que premia la mejor adaptación de un videojuego.
El favorito de este año es God of War Ragnarök, con 10 nominaciones, seguido de Elden Ring y Horizon Forbidden West, ambos con 7. Otros que sorprendieron fueron Stray (6), A Plague Tale: Requiem (5), mientras que Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Inmortality, Neon White, Sifu, Tunic y Xenoblade Chronicles 3 comparten 3 nominaciones.
Tal como otros años, los interesados podrán votar en el sitio web oficial, pudiendo elegir a sus favoritos.
