Mediante un comunicado en su sitio web, Crunchyroll anunció una larga lista de series anime que saldrán de su catálogo a fines de este mes. Entre las series retiradas, se encuentran Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars), No Game No Life, Little Busters!, Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, Himouto! Umaru-chan, To Love Ru, Akame ga Kill!, entre otras muy conocidas por los fanáticos.
Según los detalles, los 37 títulos retirados se encuentran licenciados por Sentai Filmworks, proveedor mundial de anime que fue adquirido en enero de este año por AMC Networks y que posee su propio servicio de Streaming HIDIVE.
Por lo mismo, la mayoría de estas series se encuentran en ese servicio y algunas otras en streamings como Netflix. Debido a la compra de AMC, el acuerdo entre Sentai y Sony habría finalizado, y de manera similar, se espera a que en Netflix desaparezcan algunas series de la proveedora.
